Bulk Items Disposal –
New Green Metal Cage
We are pleased to inform you that Waltham Estate RMO Board has installed a new green metal cage for the disposal of residents’ authorised bulk items.
The cage is in front of the new garden in-between Burford House and Waltham House.
The benefits of the new cage for Waltham Estate Residents are to:
1. Prevent the dumping of authorised bulk items inappropriately across the estate
2. Prevent the office from issuing fines and taking legal action against residents who do not dispose of their household bulk items in the metal cage ONLY*
3. Make the estate clean and tidy
4. Prevent Health and Safety hazards
*after previously informing the office of the item(s) to be dumped, making the required payment for such item(s) and obtaining a receipt. Any item dumped in the shelter without evidence of payment will be deemed to have been fly tipped and an appropriate action will commence against the perpetrator(s).
We have noticed that some residents dispose of their bulk items in the garden area.
This should not be the case. We hope we can all work with the management by ensuring that bulk items are placed in the metal cage provided.
